Mural Terms
Last updated August 28, 2026
1. Scope
These Terms govern only paintablepictures.com and custom mural work provided by Paintable Pictures LLC ("Paintable Pictures," "we," "us," or "our"). They do not govern any of our other services, which have their own policies. You can find them here:
- PBNify: Privacy Policy Terms of Service
- Paint Your Photo: Privacy Policy Terms of Service
- COLORables: Privacy Policy Terms of Service
A website inquiry is only the start of a conversation. The details we confirm with a customer for a particular project—whether in a quote, invoice, email, proof, purchase order, or other communication—become the terms for that project and control if they conflict with these Terms.
2. Using the website and working with us
You may use this website to learn about our work and contact us about a possible project. You may not misuse the website, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, or copy or commercially exploit its content except as permitted by law or with our permission.
You must be at least 18 years old to purchase mural services. If you are acting for an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to make project decisions for it.
3. Project details, payment, and changes
Because every mural is custom, scope, artwork, dimensions, price, payment, timing, delivery, cancellation, and other project details are handled through our communications with you. Asking us to begin work, approving a design, or making payment may confirm your acceptance of the applicable project details and any Terms brought to your attention.
Changes, late approvals, missing information, overdue amounts, or a postponed event may affect price and timing. Amounts already committed to design work, materials, production, reserved capacity, or third-party costs may be nonrefundable. Any different arrangement we confirm with you will control.
4. Artwork, materials, and approvals
You keep the rights you have in artwork, photographs, logos, copy, and other materials you provide. You give us permission to use and adapt those materials as reasonably needed to evaluate, design, produce, deliver, document, and support your project.
You confirm that you are entitled to provide those materials for the project and that our authorized use will not violate another person's rights. We may decline or pause work that we reasonably believe creates a legal, safety, or operational concern.
You are responsible for reviewing proofs and approving project details. Digital previews are reasonable representations, but screens, printing, paint, materials, lighting, and collaborative painting can produce some variation in the finished result. Changes after approval may affect cost and timing.
5. Portfolio and promotional use
We commonly showcase completed projects as examples of our work. Unless we agree otherwise, you allow us to identify your organization as a customer and to use non-confidential project details, your name and logo, and images or video of the mural and event that we create or are authorized to use in our portfolio, case studies, website, social media, sales materials, and advertising.
Tell us before the project if confidentiality or publicity restrictions apply. We will honor restrictions we agree to, and you may contact us if you have a concern about a particular use. Providing us with photographs, video, testimonials, or other media for promotional use confirms that we may use that material for the agreed purpose.
6. Production, delivery, and event use
Production and delivery dates are estimates unless we specifically agree otherwise. Delays involving customer approvals, carriers, weather, venues, materials, or events outside our reasonable control may affect the schedule.
Please inspect deliveries promptly and let us know about missing, damaged, or materially incorrect items so we have a reasonable opportunity to address the issue. Unless we are providing on-site services, the customer is responsible for receiving, setting up, supervising, and safely using the mural and supplies at the venue, including appropriate adult supervision where children participate.
7. Our work and materials
Paintable Pictures owns or licenses the website and our existing tools, methods, templates, production processes, and working files. Purchasing a mural does not transfer those materials or our underlying production files unless we specifically agree otherwise. Any different ownership or usage arrangement for a custom deliverable will be based on what we confirm with you for the project.
8. Problems, warranties, and liability
If something is damaged, defective, missing, or materially different from what we confirmed, notify us promptly. Depending on the situation, we may repair or replace an affected item, redo an affected service, or provide an appropriate credit or refund.
Except for promises we specifically make for a project and rights that cannot legally be limited, the website and mural services are provided without additional warranties. We do not guarantee a particular event, attendance, marketing, or artistic outcome.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Paintable Pictures will not be liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for a project will not exceed the amount paid or payable to us for the part of the project giving rise to the claim. Different limits may apply if we agree to them for a project.
9. Responsibility for claims
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you are responsible for third-party claims and reasonable costs arising from materials you provide, your violation of these Terms, or your unlawful or unsafe use of the mural, except to the extent the claim was caused by Paintable Pictures. We will provide reasonable notice of a covered claim.
10. General terms
Ohio law governs these Terms. Any court proceeding relating to them will take place in a state or federal court in Franklin County, Ohio, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
We may update these Terms by posting a revised version and changing the date above. A revision will not retroactively change project details we have already confirmed. If part of these Terms is unenforceable, the rest will remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it.
